The author(s) of a manuscript:

  • are required to indicate in the cover letter to their article which artificial intelligence tools were used during the preparation of the manuscript, the creation of images or graphic elements, in the process of data collection and analysis, etc. It is also obligatory to specify which AI tool was used;

  • indicate the name of the tool and the prompts used if illustrative material was created with the help of artificial intelligence. The use of AI-generated content must not infringe upon the rights of third parties (for example, the artistic style of individual artists, unless this is the subject of critical analysis);
  • bear responsibility for the accuracy of the material presented, in the preparation of which artificial intelligence was used, as well as for the acknowledgment of all sources in their article;
  • must adhere to the principles of academic integrity. All manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening, including screening for the use of artificial intelligence.

The reviewer(s) of a manuscript:

– must express their own expert assessment when evaluating an article rather than relying on the conclusions of artificial intelligence;

– must not upload full manuscript texts to publicly available or unsecured artificial intelligence tools, so as not to compromise the confidentiality of the peer review process.

The Editorial Board:

– checks all manuscripts submitted to the journal for plagiarism, including the presence of content generated by artificial intelligence;

– makes decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript primarily on the basis of the scientific value, originality, and quality of the research rather than on the use of artificial intelligence during its preparation.
