The Editorial Board of Scientific Herald of Sivershchyna. Series: Law academic journal reserves the right to classify, edit, shorten, or reject submitted manuscripts. Submitted materials are not returned.

Reproduction of materials published in Scientific Herald of Sivershchyna. Series: Law academic journal is prohibited. Any use of published materials must be accompanied by appropriate referencing.

Each published article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI).

Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word format (doc, docx). Margins: 20 mm on all sides. Font: Times New Roman, 14 pt. Line spacing 1.5. First-line indentation: 1.25 cm. Pages should not be numbered. The minimum length of the publication is 12 pages.

Articles may be submitted in Ukrainian, English, Polish, or German and must contain the following structural elements:

  • UDC (in the upper left corner of the page);
  • the last name(s) and the initials of the author(s) (in the upper right corner);
  • academic degree and academic rank (in the upper right corner);
  • position (in the upper right corner);
  • full name and address of the author’s (authors’) place of employment or study, including the country (in the right corner);
  • e-mail (in the upper right corner);
  • ORCID of the author(s) (in the upper right corner);
  • one blank line;
  • the title of the article in capital letters (centred);
  • one blank line;
  • abstract and keywords in Ukrainian and in the language of the article (if submitted in Polish or German) (500-600 characters);
  • general presentation of the problem, its relevance and connection with important scientific or practical tasks (“Problem Statement”);
  • analysis of recent research and publications in which the solution to this problem was proposed and on which the author(s) rely; identification of previously unresolved aspects of the general problem addressed in the article (“Analysis of Recent Research and Publications”);
  • formulation of the research objectives (“Purpose of the Article”);
  • presentation of the main research material with full substantiation of the obtained scientific results (“Main Body”);
  • research conclusions (“Conclusions”);
  • one blank line;
  • “References” (centered) arranged in the order of citation in the text. Bibliographic descriptions must comply with DSTU 8302:2015 and include the DOI (if available). References are indicated in the text. The number of the source cited is given in square brackets, followed by a comma and the page number (e.g., [1, p. 100]; [1, fol. 100]).
  • one blank line;
  • abstract and keywords in English (1,800-2,000 characters). The abstract must include the last name and the initials of the author(s) and the title of the article;
  • one blank line;
  • “References” – an English-language version of the reference list in APA 7 style.

Materials submitted to the Editorial Board of Scientific Herald of Sivershchyna. Series: Law academic journal by e-mail (journalnvs1@ukr.net) must include:

  • an electronic version of the article;
  • if the author(s) do not hold an academic degree, a scanned review of the article by a Doctor or Candidate of Sciences recommending it for publication;
  • information about the author(s) prepared in accordance with the established sample.

Manuscripts submitted to the Editorial Board of the Scientific Herald of Sivershchyna. Series: Law academic journal that fail to comply with these requirements, will not be accepted for review and will not be published.
