CRIMINOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF PERSONS WHO EVADE MILITARY SERVICE DURING MOBILIZATION

In the article, the authors point out the need for scientific research due to the fact that in today’s realities, the issue of manning the territorial recruitment centers and social support (hereinafter – TRC and SS) in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other components of the defense forces is becoming acute. Failure by individual citizens of Ukraine to fulfil their constitutional obligation to protect the Motherland, independence and territorial integrity, and to respect its state symbols, not only negatively affects the defense of our country, but also the state of crime in the areas of protection of state secrets, inviolability of state borders, and conscription and mobilization.
Regarding the questionnaires of TRC and SS employees and analysis of court practice it should be noted that this criminal offence is committed by the following categories of persons.
According to socio-demographic data: gender: men, mostly 35-50 years old (59%), whose place of birth is Ukraine; place of residence: urban areas, less often rural areas (37%), married (64%), with one child (52%).
By socio-economic indicators: education: incomplete secondary (9%), secondary (37%), higher (54%); presence or absence of a job before the service (92%): was employed unofficially (28%); financial situation: financially secure above average (35%), medium financially secure (38%), financially secure below average (27%).
In terms of social and role characteristics: the status in society is mainly workers, with a slightly smaller percentage being entrepreneurs.
The moral and psychological features are characterized by a negative attitude to the performance of their public duties, etc.
